Health Literacy Month

October is Health Literacy Month - a time when health literacy advocates around the world promote the importance of making health information understandable. The Health Literacy Month was founded by Helen Osborne in 1999.

Join Chapin Memorial Library as we present health literacy through reading and programs. Information tables will be available in the library to answer general questions about health, counseling, nutrition, exercise and hypnotherapy.
