Our copier machine is located near the Customer Service Desk in the lobby on the first floor. Copies are black and white only and the cost for copies is $0.10 cents per page. Cash only.
Faxes can be sent and recieved at the library. The cost is $2.00 for the first 2 sheets, and $0.25 for each additional sheet per fax number. No fax will be sent 30 minutes before closing. When having documents faxed to the library, please make sure your name is on the first page and legible. If necessary, add a cover page so we can identify the owner of the documents.
All public computers are capable of printing in black and white or color. Costs are $0.15 for black and white and $1.00 for color, per page. Credit is added to a seperate print account, and costs are debited from the account when pages are printed. A Chapin Memorial Library card or visitor pass is required to log on to our computer system and print. Please see a staff member in the Customer Service Department to obtain a card or guest pass.
Wireless printers are availible on each floor of the library: one in the lobby at the Customer Service Desk and a second upstairs at the Information Services Desk. Connect your laptop or mobile device to ChapinGuestAccess and browse for available printers. Knowledge of your own opperating system is assumed. Same print costs apply.
Document scanning is available at he Customer Service Desk on the first floor, and at the Information Services Desk on the second floor. Scanning charges are $1.00 for up to 10 pages, $2.00 for up to 20 pages, etc. up to a maximum of 50 pages. Scanned files can be emailied or saved to a patron supplied USB drive.
