Zero Contact Pickup

To place a request online:

  2. Use the catalog search features to browse for items. Click on the "Place Request" link next to the item.
  3. When your items are available the library will notify you by email, text, or voice depending on your notification preference in your account.
  4. When arriving at the library call 843-918-1275 and wait in your vehicle while we check out your items.
  5. Staff will place your items on the cart outside the library’s main entrance at the library at your scheduled pickup time. To respect the library’s social distancing efforts and zero contact pick-up, please wait until staff have re-entered the library building to retrieve your items from the designated pickup cart.
  6. All library materials enter a 3-day quarantine and disinfecting protocol once returned to the library, so not all items listed as “IN” in the library catalog are immediately available for checkout.
  7. Returned items must be placed in the book drop at opposite side of parking lot (between 14th N and library parking lot). Do not place returned items on the pickup cart.
