Libraries Transform Book Pick through Chapin Memorial Library - The Libraries Transform Book Pick is a popular digital reading program that connects readers nationwide by offering free access to the same ebook through public libraries. The book pick this year is "Book of the Little Axe" by Lauren Francis-Sharma. Readers follow young Rosa Rendon's journey from Trinidad to Montana at the turn of the 18th century, and is a strikingly original and richly compelling historical novel which illuminates the roots of America’s dire systemic racism. The ebook will be available for unlimited downloading from September 14-28 through the OverDrive and Libby Apps. A few hardcopies are available for checkout on a first come first served basis. Online discussion questions and trivia through October 26 will expand this annual reading event and give participants entry into weekly prize drawings. Don't have a library card yet? Sign up for a temporary digital access card at chapinlibrary.org until you can get your full access card at the library. New to the Libby or Overdrive Apps? FAQs and tutorials can be found on our website or YouTube Channel.
